Why Anti-oxidants are so important in Anti-ageing Skincare

If your goal is to take the best possible care of your skin it’s a good idea to learn more about a key contributor to skin aging – which is oxidative and free radical damage. In lay terms this mean that damage caused by the sun, pollution, dehydration and ingested toxins can cause our cells to misbehave. The cells oxidise which leads to damaged functionality. Just think of this in terms of the damage you see on an exposed piece of metal. With the combination of sun, air and water the metal starts to rust and break down over time. Think of the same process as affecting the cells of your skin.
So what can we do about this? Well, apart from locking yourself in pristine environment away from sun damage and never eating or drinking anything naughty there is a more practical approach. You can slow down this natural process and support your skin cells with some key powerful anti-aging ingredients:
Vitamin Q (Co-enzyme Q10) – Naturally occurring in the skin but its levels decline as we age. This amazing vitamin is a potent antioxidant helping to energise your skin by boosting cell activity.
